Cookie policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, analyse use of the site and support certain functions. We also use the browser's local storage, which works in much the same way, but stays on your own device and is not sent to the server.
Which cookies do we use?
These are necessary for the website to work and for the site to remember the choices you have made yourself. They store your cookie choice, for example. They are set without consent, as they are technically necessary and are not used to track you.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | Stores your cookie choice | Until deleted |
We use Google Analytics (GA4, Google LLC, USA) to understand how visitors use our site. The data is used solely to improve the website. These cookies are only set if you accept analytics cookies. Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (SCC).
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes between users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Session tracking (GA4) | 2 years |
We currently use no marketing cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
How to manage your cookie choices
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of the page. You can also delete cookies and local storage directly in your browser settings.
